Born on 13th February 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, Richard Blumenthal is a Senior Senator from Connecticut who took office on Jan 5, 2011. He is a member of the Democratic Party, and previously served as the Attorney General of Connecticut from 1991 to 2011. Before that he was an editorial chairman for the “Harvard Crimson”.
