Training Subcommittee for Elected Officials The Training Subcommittee for Elected Officials provide training opportunities to elected and appointed officials who may not have prior skills in moderating a meeting, rules of procedure, legal prescriptions, education, etc. This subcommittee might hold periodic seminars, which are open to the public, on iissues such as: Roberts Rules of Order, Freedom of Information, Campaign Finance, etc. These types of seminars are given by experts in their particular field who make presentations, along with local officials with prior experience or a particular expertise.
