Greetings from the Chair Dear Friends, Welcome to the Bloomfield Democratic Town Committee’s website. It is designed to help you learn about your local Democratic party, issues of relevance to our state and nation, and our wonderful community. Please feel free to contact us, as we welcome your suggestions. The Bloomfield Democratic Town Committee (BTC) consists of 85 individuals from throughout our six districts. We take pride in providing responsible resources so that we can adequately prepare our youth for the future. Our council - manager form of government works well and provides stability and professionalism. We pride ourselves in the Democratic leadership that has helped spur an economic renaissance, preserve open space, encourage housing diversity, support senior services and youth activities, maintain a stable tax base, provide for professional staffing, promote capital improvements and public safety services, and encourage volunteerism.
